09.01.21 – Montgomery, Alabama – The Alabama Track Owners Association (ATOA) has launched a statewide media campaign to communicate the following message directly to the citizens of Alabama:
Alabama is losing hundreds of millions of dollars in gaming and lottery revenue to Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. This continues to happen year after year because the Alabama State Legislature has not approved the comprehensive gaming and lottery plan that would give the people of Alabama the chance to vote on a constitutional amendment. If the constitutional amendment approving the comprehensive gaming and lottery plan were to pass, the State of Alabama would generate hundreds of millions of dollars in additional tax revenue that could be used to fund Alabama priorities including broadband, healthcare, college & trade school scholarships, new job growth, workforce development, and new business opportunities.
The Alabama Track Owners Association (ATOA) is asking the citizens of Alabama to call their legislators and tell them to pass a comprehensive gaming and lottery bill now. The toll-free phone number is 1-855-Gaming-1 (1-855-426-4641).

I want Alabama to have a lottery bill that the Alabamians can vote on.
Alabama needs a state lottery. There are millions of dollars each week that go to other states because Alabamians do not have the choice to play a lottery in our own state.
My issue with this is there are more Indian Tribes from Alabama than the Porch Indians. Until you share equally, I’m out.
We need a lottery bill now.
Pass Bill for Alabama to help the state and the schools and bring money in for the state for other things to help the great state of Alabama.
Time for Alabama to become part of the 21st century
